Poseta Institutu za Antropologiju u Zagrebu

Recently, team members of the MOVE project, Dr. Tamara Blagojević & MA Maja Kokanović, had the honor of visiting the Institute of Anthropology in Zagreb. Bioarchaeological remains from exceptional Neolithic archaeological sites in northern Croatia will undergo detailed analysis as part of our project, which focuses on the territory of the southern rim of the Carpathian Basin, alongside sites from Serbia. After careful selection, osteological material suitable for stable isotope analysis of strontium, carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur will be sampled. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our esteemed colleagues, Dr. Mario Novak, Dr. Mario Carić, and Dr. Željka Bedić, for their extraordinary hospitality and wholehearted assistance!
